Aduro Resources Ltd. – Established in late-2006, Aduro is a Calgary-based private company pursuing a technically-driven, natural gas focused strategy focused in NE BC. The management team previously worked together at Samson Canada, leading its NE BC unit.
Altex Energy Ltd. – Altex is a Calgary-based private energy infrastructure development company established in early-2005 to develop and construct a crude oil/bitumen pipeline from NE Alberta to the U.S. Gulf Coast and develop associated North American energy infrastructure projects. The company is led by the team that developed, built and operated the Alliance Pipeline.

Cobalt International Energy – Cobalt is a Houston-based private oil and gas partnership established in late-2005 by a team that includes former senior executives of Unocal, BP, ExxonMobil and Devon. Cobalt’s strategy is risk-managed high-impact exploration and development, with a focus on the US Gulf of Mexico and West Africa.

Fairfield Energy Limited – Fairfield is a U.K.-based private company developing oil and gas assets in the North Sea. The team has substantial experience in this area, with each of the senior management team members having broad experience in oil and gas, much of which is in the North Sea.

Gibraltar Exploration Ltd. – Gibraltar is a Calgary-based private company established in late-2003 by the former CEO of Genesis Exploration, Don Sabo. The company is pursuing a natural gas exploration and exploitation strategy in Alberta’s Deep Basin.
Medora Resources Inc. – Established in 2005, Medora is a private energy Corporation engaged in the exploration, development and production of mainly crude oil in SE and SW Saskatchewan. The Medora team has demonstrated success and is recognized as a leader in these key areas.
MEG Energy Corp. – MEG Energy Corp. is a private company based in Calgary solely focused on oil sands development in the Athabasca region of Alberta, Canada. The Company owns a 100% working interest in over 700 square miles of oil sands leases with its principal asset being 80 contiguous square miles of oil sands leases in the Christina Lake region. At the end of September 2007, GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd., and independent reservoir engineering firm estimated MEG’s remaining recoverable resource to be nearly 4 billion barrels, of which over 1.0 billion barrels are classified as proven and probable reserves.
